Новая версия Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility. Пакет представляет собой драйверы для чипсетов Intel от самого производителя. В систему пользователя устанавливаются INF-файлы, определяющие конфигурацию компонентов чипсета, необходимые для правильного функционирования PCI, ISAPNP, AGP, IDE/ATA33/ATA66, USB и т.д. и их точной идентификации в Device Manager.

The Intel® Chipset Device Software installs Windows*
INF files to the target system. These files outline to
the operating system how to configure the Intel® chipset
components in order to ensure that the following features
function properly:

- Core PCI and ISAPNP Services
- PCIe Support
- IDE/ATA33/ATA66/ATA100 Storage Support
- SATA Storage Support
- USB Support
- Identification of Intel® Chipset Components in the Device Manager

The Intel® Chipset Software Installation Utility is validated on the following Microsoft operating systems:
